Intelligent Material Solutions Inc. Information

Intelligent Material Solutions, Inc. engineers Intelligent Material® crystals: inert rare-earth crystals that convert energy into measurable information. Shine infrared in and visible light comes out. Shine UV in and a precise color comes back. We tune each crystal's composition, size, shape, timing and magnetic response, so one particle can carry several independent layers of information. The result is a signature that is extremely hard to copy. What that makes possible: • Authentication and anti-counterfeiting for products, documents and transaction cards • Identification and traceability from the moment of manufacture • Diagnostics and medical imaging • Defense and security detection • Transportation and therapeutic applications Founded in 2010, we work at the historic RCA Sarnoff Labs site in Princeton, New Jersey, the birthplace of television. Our work builds on the nanocrystal chemistry recognized by the 2023 Nobel Prize in Chemistry, through co-inventor Christopher B. Murray. We hold a growing patent portfolio and are ISO 9001:2015 certified. NovaVera Corp is our commercialization partner. Follow along as we answer one question, one post at a time: What can Intelligent Material do?
