IntellectExchange is a member of the Oracle9iAS Portal Partner Initiative and as such its solutions have been selected for inclusion in the Oracle Portal Catalog, which provides information on "the industry-leading vendors and solution providers who have joined the Oracle9iAS Portal Partner Initiative, as well as the products and services they offer." Oracle9iAS Portal is a web-based application for building and deploying e-business portals. It provides a secure, manageable environment for accessing and interacting with enterprise software services and information resources. This relationship offers IntellectExchange distribution into the Oracle network. IntellectExchange is a participant in Microsoft's SharePoint Initiative . Microsoft SharePoint Portal Server 2001 is a flexible Web-based portal solution that one can use to find, share, and publish information easily. SharePoint Portal Server provides a rich, customizable out-of-the-box Web portal that gives users quick access to business-critical information throughout an organization. Because of this agreement, the users of SharePoint will be able to install IntellectExchange's services as a webpart on their portal and access it directly. IntellectExchange has an agreement with IBM to make its capabilities available for the customers of IBM WebSphere® Portal which provides its customers a single point of interaction with dynamic information, applications, processes and people to help build successful business-to-employee (B2E), business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-consumer (B2C) portals. Subsequently, IntellectExchange developed a portlet, called the "Private Expertise Portlet" (PEP) (NavCodeTM 1WP1000B1), which would provide users of the IBM Portal access to a unique service for finding and engaging worldwide consultants or experts in technology, business, engineering, and science.
