Integument manufactures and supplies surface protection films and coatings in a tape-like form, specializing in fluoropolymers (PTFE, FEP, ECTFE) backed with a pressure sensitive adhesive. These provide superior chemical/corrosion/weather protection, low surface energy (low friction, slippery surface, easy-clean), and low dielectric constant. Unlike traditional paints, epoxies, and other liquid coatings, our FluoroGrip® films require no mixing/measuring, have no volatile emissions, and can be put in use immediately (no cure time). Integument's FluoroGrip® process increases the surface energy to 56 Dynes in a shelf-stable form, with no contamination or discoloring. A few specialized applications include, but not limited to: high temperature chemical resistance, paint replacement/multi-functional coatings for aircraft; enhanced lightning strike protection, anti-graffiti, anti-ice accretion, mold release, and more.
