Integra Devices produces microsensors, microactuators, and micro-RF devices for aerospace, defense, and telecommunications markets. Integra's unique patented manufacturing technology enables the production of sophisticated 3D structures at micrometer sizes, often produced completely within microelectronic laminates, allowing them to be easily integrated into conventional electronic systems. Integra's devices are made from combinations of metals, ceramics, semiconductors, polymers, and biomaterials, enabling the production of highly integrated sophisticated micro-scale products. Integra's manufacturing technology drops development costs by a factor of 10 and cuts production costs in half, when compared with conventional silicon based microfabrication. Integra partners with innovative manufacturing companies in the US to produce these devices, with some ancillary manufacturing done in Japan, Korea, and Taiwan. Several US manufacturers have already been granted manufacturing licenses and have demonstrated the ability to produce Integra's embedded devices in large quantities. Integra is currently partnering with major market leaders to design and produce key products driving applications in wireless and internet of things. Integra's first line of products, based on Integra's embedded microswitch technology, includes miniature power relays, microwave switching circuits, smart reconfigurable antennas, and RF components.
