Institut Destrée Information

The Destree Institute is a European research centre and think-and-do tank specialised in retrospective and foresight. Its primary focus is on innovation and operationalisation whilst using basic, applied, and deliberative approaches, as well as its extended inter-university network. The Destree Institute contributes to building a democratic society based on intellectual, social, and cultural emancipation of Society. As a independant, non-governmental and pluralist research center, the Institute emphasises the need for creative thought additionally to rigorous and systematic data collection and analysis, interactions, and conceptualisation. The Destree Institute comprises two internal analytical frameworks: The Center for the History of Wallonia and the Walloon Movement, and the Wallonia Policy Lab - Independent Regional Foresight Unit. These tools have extensive archives, a library, and thematic databases.
