What is Remote Patient Monitoring? Remote Patient Monitoring is a technology that allows physicians to monitor patients outside of the clinical setting, such as the patients home or in a remote area, which will increase access to care and decrease healthcare costs. Using Mi-Health's FDA approved monitoring equipment, physicians can monitor a patients chronic diseases such as hypertension, heart disease, diabetes and COPD by receiving real-time data daily, that is transmitted wirelessly from their monitoring device to a secure HIPAA compliant software. The Data received by our software can be accessed by the Physician through our Mi-Health online portal at anytime. This enhanced oversight allows providers to monitor trends, prevent complications, provide greater access to care and help improve patient outcomes, while decreasing healthcare costs.
