We help communities design a process to lead, plan and manage disaster recovery. We provide realistic expectations and use proven methods to ensure recovery is effective, timely and sustainable. We have experience helping communities identify and refine projects that foster recovery. We understand how to take a concept, identify the pieces and connect partners and resources to make viable projects that support rebuilding. From experience we know communities own their own recovery. Our team can facilitate conversations that provide a community voice to decision-making. Our citizen-led recovery planning process demonstrates the importance of visible and deliberate community engagement. We help communities bring people to the table to find solutions for community issues. We also assist communities and organizations pre-disaster. InsightFIVE22 helps organizations rebound more quickly through the construction or refinement of a resilience plan that includes emergency response, business continuity and crisis communications. OUR STORY: We met in Joplin, MO after the May 22, 2011 tornado and discovered common ground - a heart for communities affected by disasters. Our backgrounds are varied. We are disaster recovery specialists, urban planners, landscape architects, business owners and community leaders. As a result, we see problems, processes and opportunities through different lenses. It's what makes our combined INSIGHT unique - and why we chose a name that combines our strengths and the event that brought us together.
