The large, publicly traded companies (and some larger private ones as well) decided that you weren’t allowed to have equity in solar. They decided that you couldn’t own your own solar system, that you couldn’t enjoy the benefits of ownership. They decided that you could buy the electricity from them and that’s it. Sometimes not owning a solar system is a good option. A lease or PPA is a very simple way to go solar. But shouldn’t you be afforded a proper consultation from a company with the experience to know what solar was before a solar lease existed? That’s where we come in.
