As the leader in its field, Public Art Fund brings dynamic contemporary art to a broad audience in New York City and beyond by mounting ambitious free exhibitions of international scope and impact that offer the public powerful experiences with art and the urban environment. Public Art Fund was founded in 1977 by Doris C. Freedman (1928-1981), a champion of public art who served as New York City's first Director of Cultural Affairs, President of the Municipal Art Society of New York, and was a tireless supporter of New York City's Percent for Art legislation. In 1971, she founded the Public Arts Council while at the same time serving as president of City Walls Inc. Under her leadership, both organizations developed programs to explore the potential for art to become an integral aspect of urban public spaces. In 1977, she merged the two to form the independent, non-profit Public Art Fund. Since its inception, Public Art Fund has presented more than four hundred artists' exhibitions and projects at sites throughout New York City’s five boroughs, making it possible for artists to engage diverse audiences and, along the way, redefine public art in relation to the changing nature of contemporary art.

Global Street Art is Europe's largest and leading mural-painting organisation, headquartered in London with offices in Brussels, Paris, and Madrid. Since 2012, Global Street Art and its community of thousands of artists, comprising a network of established names and emerging talents, have painted over 3,000 pure art walls across the UK and worked in dozens of other countries. Global Street Art’s mission is to “Live in Painted Cities” by working with talented street artists who create murals for commercial and community initiatives. They believe art has the power to transform places and inspire people.

My Modern Met was formed in May, 2008 to create one big city that celebrates creative ideas. Our mission is to promote a positive culture by spotlighting the best sides of humanity—from the lighthearted and fun to the thought-provoking and enlightening. Today, we receive an average of 5 million visitors coming to our site each month, looking for articles on art, design, photography, architecture, technology, environmental issues, and more. While we enjoy exposing people to visually stunning images alongside captivating stories, we also provide a platform for incredibly talented artists who are on the pulse of contemporary art. They continuously push the boundaries of how we think and, often times, the message in their artworks are more powerful than words could ever be. Our aim is to contribute to a brighter future by showcasing the top creative minds in the world. We celebrate diversity and people of all ages because we believe that the most beautiful fabric is one that includes us all.
