We’ve grown throughout the years without losing that special family-owned culture that sets us apart from the rest. We’ve also taken our great business model interstate, with offices in Perth, Melbourne, Sydney, Newcastle, Brisbane and Canberra, as well as our ‘home’ city of Adelaide. Our products – including Outdoor Blinds, Artificial Lawn, Roller Shutters, Verandahs, Pergolas, Timber Decking and Outdoor Kitchens – and services have helped to make us a true market leader in outdoor home improvements across the country. Since 1996 Shade Solutions has been supplying custom shade sails and repairs to one of the sunniest cities on earth. As a young qualified carpenter working in Perth, Patrick could see that designers and architects sometimes struggled to make optimum use of the new shading fabrics that were coming into use. Patrick and an engineer friend set out to tackle these issues, looking at innovative ways to fix shade sails to buildings so that the loads were properly distributed. It was entirely appropriate that the business he founded should be called Shade Solutions, because we pride ourselves on being able to devise a solution to any shading problem.

Aussie Outdoor Living is a family owned and run business established since 2005 by Chris Riley. With a combined 30 years' experience in the design and construction of outdoor entertainment areas, we are one of the Hills Districts leading industry specialists. Aussie Outdoor Living specializes in home improvements and extensions. We design and construct Patios, Pergolas, Decks, Carports and assortment of extras and additions such as Hand Railings, Stairs, Screens, Glass Pool Fencing and a variety of other outdoor improvements. Chris has been designing custom tailored outdoor areas for over 15 years and has a wealth of invaluable knowledge & ideas. Chris entered the industry as a Design Consultant for Pergola Land, later moving up to Head Design Manager and training other Design Consultants. After deciding it was time to branch out to further develop Aussie Outdoor Living. In the first 12 months there was a huge expansion & company growth which resulted in having to re-locate the business to a modern complex with office, warehouse and showroom space located at Dural. Aussie Outdoor Living now have 10 full time employees, ranging from office staff, expert design consultants, two construction teams and a Construction Manager. We are committed to providing impeccable service to all our customers, regardless of the scope, the price and the nature of the project.
