Insapipe Industries Ltd Information

Since 1966 Insapipe Industries has developed to become a major supplier to the plumbing and pipe insulation markets in Australia, New Zealand, South East Asia and the Pacific. First established in New Zealand, the company originally known as Gyro Heating, specialised in "Insapipe" hot water heating and ventilation solutions. In 1966 the company changed it's name to "Insapipe". 1974 saw the opening of the Melbourne office with expansion into the supply of large projects throughout the Pacific region. By 1983 the company moved into domestic heating distribution with the acquisition of Heatway, who manufactured skirting (panel) and fan heaters. A further acquisition of "Rendell Industries" saw inclusion of electrical hot water products with the brands Renhardt and Hotstream added to the range. The company continued to grow through the eighties securing the Sani, Vulathene and Delonghi agencies. In 1988 Insapipe acquired Parex Industries Ltd ( including the In-Sink-Erator brand in New Zealand ), and changed its name to Parex Industries Ltd. Subsequent to this, Insapipe Industries was separated from the Parex appliance business to operate as an independent unit of Parex Industries Ltd. In 2003, Insapipe Industries was purchased from Parex Industries Ltd. Today, we are a fully independent, privately owned operation focusing on manufacture and distribution of Insapipe Preinsulated pipe, Vulcathene chemical waste systems and Lomac small bore waste pumps.
