Enable the development, packaging and distribution of sustainable, scalable and disruptive products, services and technologies. The International Center for Long Term Care Innovation (InnovateLTC) is many things to many different parties. We are a business accelerator aimed at helping to deliver innovative products, services and for the global aging population. We are also a convener to link innovative entrepreneurs to startup capital, an engaged community of customers, validation services, educational tools and the talent to drive their ideas into the marketplace. But InnovateLTC doesnt just get you to market and say, good luck. If we can distribute your innovations, well do that too. We are in the process of building an online mall, ShopLTC, and we building (June 2013) a brick-and-mortar showroom to display and innovative products, services and technologies geared toward the aging and wellness sector. The showroom will be located in our hometown of Louisville, Kentucky which, if you didnt know, is kind of a national hub for aging care. InnovateLTC is also deeply entrenched in academic research and has connections to several of the nations top universities. We are building an international knowledge repository, providing access to cutting-edge research articles and white papers focused on understanding and improving the quality of life and quality of care for the global aging population. In the coming years, tens of millions of aging baby boomers will need long-term care services and products, either at home or in some type of communal setting. Its time to step our game up and change the way these services are delivered. Its time to be proactive and creative in meeting the needs and demands of the worlds aging population.
