Innovate Lancashire is Lancashire County Council’s innovation investment initiative. A county-wide programme, it helps to support business growth, enable new collaborations, champion R&D, and expand Lancashire’s innovation ecosystem. Innovate Lancashire is also helping to implement Lancashire’s Innovation Plan (LIP). Described as a ‘blueprint for growth’, and developed by Lancashire County Council in partnership with The Lancashire Innovation Board, the LIP is focused on maintaining, strengthening, and extending Lancashire’s world-class capabilities in innovation-led sectors such as aerospace, advanced manufacturing, cyber, low carbon, energy, and chemicals.
