JSR company is independent Chinese design-house/manufacturer producing smartphones. Founded in 2009 by ~30 people engineers coming from the world-leading Chinese & US smartphone vendors. The brand innos was founded in 2011. The first model– innos D9 (released in 2012) – had the biggest battery in the world at that moment – 4 160 mAh. The next model – innos D10 (2013) - had again the biggest battery in the world – 6 000 mAh. Specially for Russian market JSR designed a modification of innos D10 with two batteries of 3 000 and 6 000 mAh – every customer could change the battery at any time. innos D10 became the first in the world smartphone with two batteries of different capacity. At the end of 2015 JSR established European headquarter in Moscow, Russia. The company plans wide expansion to European market within the next few years. The first model released in Europe was innos D6000. This was the first in the world model that had two batteries (built-in & connected) operating at the same time. JSR’s engineers had to make a special adaptation of standard Qulacomm’s platform to such new functionality. JSR is the only vendor in the world offering such a technology. innos make focus on using top-level elements coming from world-leading manufacturers: Qualcomm (processors), Sharp (screens), Sony and OmniVision (cameras), Corning (screen glasses). The next stage of JSR’s technology development will be “innos-maker” to be released in 2016. This is absolutely new revolutionary concept of smartphone. Every customer will be able to customize his smartphone’s hardware by himself. The same hardware platform (processor, memory, cameras) will be available in different form-factors. In addition to this every model will have small built-in battery, but main capacity will be offered like an option to choose. Every customer can decide what kind of connected battery does he really needs. And order smartphone with appropriate capacity or few different capacities.
