At InHealth Mutual, we are built for members by members to provide quality, affordable health insurance that is responsive to the needs and wants of all Ohioans. We are a Consumer Operated and Oriented Plan (CO-OP), different from traditional insurers given our nonprofit status and member focus. We are governed by a board of directors—and beginning in 2015, the majority of our board will be comprised of members. In addition, our profits will be used to lower the cost of care, enhance benefits, develop community programs or decrease premiums. We are dedicated to the most important goal—giving our members quality, affordable health coverage so they can take care of themselves and their families. With affordable insurance products for individuals, small businesses and groups that we sell through brokers and private exchanges, we offer benefits members want and need plus a statewide provider network of more than 200 hospitals, over 23,000 physicians, and nearly 4,000 ancillary providers covering all 88 counties.
