Inhabit is part of the Solidspace family; a boutique developer that uses a modern design philosophy in all their homes. We have a shared philosophy of buy-to-live not buy-to-let and our homes are designed for the way we live today. We’ve been building award-winning buildings,helping customers for almost 15 years and sit on the executive committee of the National Association of Self-builders (NaSBA). ​ We specialise in self-build and custom-build; Inhabit is London’s first custom-build developer and is helping create the trade body for the fledging custom-build industry. The main reason Inhabit was created was to help people, redefine better value and to reduce waste. We are passionate about providing better value homes, focusing on better quality, being better for the environment, better by design and better suited to how we live. We work with you to share the profit and risk of the development so you pay less than for an equivalent property in an open market. We want you to work with us on the design and tell us what you want while we keep an eye on the design to make sure it can retain long term value. We actually base the price of the home on cost not on comparable house prices. This means that if they want to spend more on walls and less on floors, we won’t make an arbitrary decision about what the price should be. We can offer shells or fit-outs depending on what you want and your budget.
