Infrinity was founded by Anand Venkataraman in July, 2010 to help mobile publishers and app users most effectively discover each other. The company developed a scalable platform to algorithmically digest and produce daily recommendation lists of the best apps that users may want to consider installing, and the best users to whom publishers may want to promote their apps. By early 2011, Infrinity's platform had a number of big-name licensees who proved the concept and technology. In May 2011, GetJar, Inc. bid for and acquired the Infrinity.
