Infrastructure SA's purpose is to provide independent and trusted expert advice to government to enable informed and integrated decisions on infrastructure planning, investment, delivery, and optimisation. Our vision is that efficient and evidence-based infrastructure planning and delivery will grow the economy, create jobs, and improve liveability for all South Australians. In accordance with the Infrastructure SA 2018 Act, Infrastructure SA undertakes four key activities: • Develop a 20 Year State Infrastructure Strategy that sets a long-term vision for South Australia’s infrastructure. • Develop an annual Capital Intensions Statement that prioritises potential major projects for government decisions. • Undertake project assurance to provide confidence to government in its investment decisions on all projects with a capital value of $50 million and over. • Provide independent advice to the Premier on specific issues relating to infrastructure planning, delivery, and use. Infrastructure SA is governed by an independent board that combines the expertise of the private and public sectors and reports directly to the Premier of South Australia.
