InformaTrip launched in January 2013 to offer internet users a better travel experience by putting all of the travel deals in one place. Our founder, Ari Socolow, developed the idea for InformaTrip while traveling with his daughter in Oregon (USA) in the Fall of 2012. During that trip, he discovered that it is still very difficult to identify the full array of things to do and to see nearby when you are traveling. In particular, it is impossible to find deals even though most merchants and business owners addressing the travel industry are clamoring for effective ways to use technology to offer deals to travelers. InformaTrip Inc., its parent company, is incorporated in New York. The company is backed by a series of successful investors with experience in the travel industry. The company has a management team with backgrounds from travel and other relevant industries. The management team is led by: Ari Socolow, Founder and Chief Executive Officer Ari is a technology and internet entrepreneur and the founder of InformaTrip. He is also the founder of BestCashCow.com, the most comprehensive personal banking site in the United States. He previously was part of the founding team of WiProx in the US, LuxLink in Italy and EinsteiNet in Germany. Ari is a former investment banker and attorney, and has lived and worked in the US, the UK, France, Spain, the Netherlands and Russia. Ari holds a JD from Emory and a MBA from Columbia.
