Informatics For Impact Information

Informatics for Impact is a community initiative dedicated to promoting the study and practice of informatics through its many lenses. We focus on reaching underrepresented communities, youth, and students who may not yet know what informatics is, but could benefit from understanding how it can uplift and empower them. Our goal is to show that informatics is more than just a major and that it is also a way to connect people, technology, and data to solve real-world problems. We educate communities on how technology can be used ethically and equitably, while showcasing the many fields where informatics plays a critical role: health informatics, data science, programming, ethics, psychology, research, and more.
