Informatics Centre Information

We are the Informatics Centre, a website design and app development company based within theUniversity of Chester. We specialise in the development of web and mobile applications and have specific expertise in Digital Marketing, Search Engine Optimisation, Database Design and Implementation and Development of bespoke business intelligence systems such as CRM. Our staff combine the skills of IT professionals, academics and selected students who engage in development projects with a variety of different sized businesses. Some of these projects are then used as case study material for Computer Science and Information Systems degrees, which ensures industry experience and business requirements are included in students’ learning. We have a unique approach to working and building partnerships with our clients. Throughout the development process we ensure that the client remains at the forefront of the development process. We then adopt a philosophy of engaging with the business in order to understand the purpose of the development required, from the point of view of the customer. This allows us to make proactive suggestions in order to promote ways that the project outcome may be enhanced in order to achieve the best possible end result.
