Informa Echo is an integrated communications company founded 1989 in Slovenia and specialized in energy efficiency. Our agency is a member of international networks and also we are initiators of a Network for business-social utility - Synergy, which connects more than 30 companies and organizations in their efforts of efficient energy use. As a development agency, we recognize our members especially in the field of energy, energy efficiency and environmental issues. The Informa Echo agency has connected relevant government institutions, energy producers and distributors, professional organizations, trading systems, media and others into a network in order to join efforts create synergies and achieve common objectives for the benefit of society. Our aim is to enable successful cooperation and realization of synergy effects in the field of energy consumption. The key purpose of the partnership is to achieve the common goal which is based on socially responsible behaviour – concern for energy efficiency and renewable energy sources. The most significant partners highlight in our partnership projects are: Energy Efficiency Center - Jožef Štefan Institute, Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia (CCIS) and Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia. Our most recent program is The Study of energy efficiency in Slovenia - REUS. This study was launched in 2009 within the framework of the project and it’s focused on the attitudes and use of energy, awareness, willingness to invest, condition of buildings and equipment, and household energy consumption. One of the Informa Echo platforms is a web application called Spendless-Energy advisor for calculating potential energy savings in four aspects of energy usage: transport, electrical devices, cooling and heating. The app provides an easy way for end-users to compare levels of expenditure, energy use and CO2 emissions for a variety of products as well as energy.
