Cluey supports student learning growth. Student growth matters because it enables every student to progress regardless of starting point or capabilities. We support student growth in subject learning and mastery; in confidence and commitment to learning; in engagement and enthusiasm for learning. We do this by working directly with students and their families to augment a student’s traditional, formal education – building on what they learn at school, supporting their academic development and performance in a way that meets their personal needs and circumstances. Cluey is not a tutoring company or a marketplace. We don't just provide platforms, tools, content, or tutors. In order to improve student learning and growth we integrate and focus learning content, tools, support and feedback to target and adapt to student needs and performance over time. We don't think students might improve if they use Cluey, we know that they do. Every hour of learning with Cluey generates ~100,000 data points that we map back to both what and how students are learning. No-one has been able to do this before. And this is just one of the things we do. We're still in the early stages of this journey. We started Cluey in 2017 and launched the first version of our online tutorial model for individual students in 2018 (first for Mathematics, then for English and Chemistry). In 2019 we introduced small group learning for Mathematics and English and started running small pilot programs to support in-school learning. We listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX: CLU) in December 2020 to accelerate our growth and expansion. The work we do at Cluey is both interesting and rewarding. And a lot of our most interesting work is ahead of us.

The Tutoring Company delivers expert Online and Home-Based private tuition for students studying The Australian Curriculum. Instruction is delivered by highly professional tutors who are primarily qualified teachers or education undergraduates. All tutors have an in-depth understanding of The Australian Curriculum and have either current VIT registration or a valid WWCC. Both Online and Home-Based lessons are structured specifically to the needs of the individual student and are aimed at addressing the underlying reasons for a student requiring tuition. For this reason, the Tutoring Company does not deliver prescribed programs but instead delivers individual based instruction. To aid the quality of instruction, students may be given the opportunity to complete informal assessments designed to uncover any possible underlying learning difficulty. These assessments are unique to The Tutoring Company and far outweigh any other form of assessment provided by other tutoring organisations or individuals. Online tuition is provided to any student across the globe studying The Australian Curriculum. Instruction is delivered via a collaborative and fully interactive two-way platform, allowing students to feel connected to their tutor. The Online Classroom provides the next best thing to actually having the tutor sitting next to the student. As in the words of a student: "I actually forgot that the tutor wasn't next to me. I could do all the same things as when I had the tutor come to my home." The Tutoring Company has invested in the best technology available to provide a seamless experience for parents, students and tutors.
