Inferlytics is the first of its kind integrated search & browse experience engine which combines power of natural language processing and domain specific knowledge bases to offer a differentiated experience for retail customers. Our eCommerce search engine philosophy is based on the fact that when it comes to eCommerce, one size does not fit all. Generic search engines which are used for retail implementations do not understand the domain of products that they are being used for. The shoe store search engine does not know what arch support means and a fragrance store search engine cannot tell the difference between sensual and masculine fragrances. This results in irrelevant search and recommendation results that customers cannot relate to. We tend to see our search engines as sales agents. Our domain specific search engines understand the key attributes of the products that are selling. Hence our search engine for shoes is very different than the one for apparel. They understand the product catalog data, social conversations around products, including user reviews and customer behavior patterns. As a result, they offer a search and browse experience that is far superior to anything thats in the market today.
