Indigo Niche is committed to providing exceptional service and product to every customer. Our goal is to serve others as we would wish to be served ourselves. Indigo Niche was formed in 2009 by sisters Colleen Shepherd and Sue Howie out of their passion for Japanese textiles and sashiko stitching. For the last five years our Indigo Niche workshop-located at Shop 6/451 Fairfield Rd, in Yeronga QLD-has been the central hub of our creative design, teaching and sales. What drives the Indigo Niche brand is a passion for Japanese textiles and the gentle art of Sashiko, as well as teaching and promoting our love of Sashiko to all who visit our workshop. We are proud to design many of the Sashiko Products on offer at the workshop. We feature regularly at annual Craft Shows in all capital cities; our appearances at these craft shows have been paramount to the success the business has achieved over the last seven years. We visit Japan on a regular basis each year to source new products, supplies and ideas to keep a fresh approach for customers.
