The India Health Fund (IHF) is a collaborative initiative to leverage the power of collective impact and catalyse India’s fight against infectious diseases including Tuberculosis, COVID-19, Malaria & vector-borne diseases. IHF is incorporated as a Section 8 Company under The Companies Act, 2013 and Act No. 18 of 2013, named as “Confluence for Health Action and Transformation Foundation (CHATF)”. It is seeded by Tata Trusts with strategic support from The Global Fund. What we aim to do: To be an aggregator of resources from private and public sector, global philanthropic foundations and aid agencies and ensure efficient allocation towards scaling up innovative solutions and business models, that catalyse the country’s mission to end Tuberculosis by 2025 and Malaria by 2030. · Mobilize up to USD 150 million over the next 5 years to be invested in scaling up high performing health programs and high-impact innovations for health in India. · Engage likeminded corporations, foundations and philanthropists to increase the pool of resources available to programs and unlock opportunities that would not be tackled otherwise. · Leverage the core capacities of the private sector to support strategic planning, implementation and evaluation of health programs. · Exchange best practices and infuse innovations within India and from across the globe. · Set up a sustainable self-supporting operational model to sustain and scale interventions for TB and malaria over an extended period. · Stimulate a higher degree of collaboration with central and state government agencies, and generate demand for increased government-led investments.
