Welcome to Independent Musical Productions, Inc. Wait! What happened to the usual IMP web pages? Well, they've been "retired" temporarily since a nasty little bug is preventing us from producing the stage extravaganzas that we'd really like to do. So, what's up? We have elected to continue presenting the "cabarets" in the parking lot at the IMP Studio with our first Drive-In Cabaret Series. See below for information on the next cabaret in the series or click here for information on the entire series. Bring your family and enjoy entertainment under the stars while safely maintaining "social distancing". But, what happened to the rest of the 2019-20 season which was supposed to end with a spectacular production of Newsies in June (and then September)? Well, it's like this: It's just not feasible at this time. We don't know when (or, sadly, if) the distancing requirements will be lifted, and trying to implement them in the Lee High School Main Stage is simply not possible. Furthermore, there's no guarantee that we would even be allowed to perform at the school. Don't despair, though. We're looking ahead to what will hopefully be our 2020-21 season of shows, and we plan to perform Newsies in June of 2021, pandemic permitting. If you bought 2019-20 season tickets or bought Newsies tickets already, watch your e-mailbox for more information. We look forward to entertaining you!
