SANTA MONICA, CA, Jan. 27, 2010 - Inception Media Group, LLC today announced it will acquire Trinidad Media Services, Inc. (TMS), a leading digital distribution service provider to film studios, television networks, video distributors and independent content owners. TMS provides a wide range of digital encoding, electronic packaging and high-speed content delivery services, and possesses certified delivery access to all major online, broadcast media and VOD platforms. TMS will operate as Inception Digital Services, LLC, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Inception Media Group, LLC. The transaction is expected to close by the end of February. TMS provides its clients with a comprehensive list of services that include digital master creation, digital restoration, metadata, artwork, chapter creation, electronic storage and global delivery. TMS serves all media platforms, including online, mobile, television, VOD, cable and satellite and delivers content to more than 20 retailers and broadcasters, including iTunes, Amazon, Netflix, Sony Playstation, Microsoft Xbox, CinemaNow, InDemand, Comcast, Echostar, Blockbuster, Hulu and Vudu. Additionally, TMS services a number of international platforms and customers.
