Impromiscuous Information

Impromiscuous is a collective of improv facilitators with a wide range of specialities and lived experience. We offer classes and workshops online and in person, covering a wide range of topics. Impromiscuous is headed by Stephen Davidson, having started as a personal project. Impromiscuous also offers consulting for arts companies around diversity and inclusion. This includes (but is not limited to): LGBTQ inclusion, trans*/NB inclusion, anti-racist practice, trauma-informed practice, disability and neurodiversity inclusion. Our diverse list of collaborators means that every inclusion course or workshop is taught by people with in-depth knowledge and lived experience. Our approach centres around creative collaboration and relationships. We offer not only information about inclusion and best practice, but the skills to integrate this knowledge into a company's culture. We examine interactions, group dynamics, and personal growth and accountability, offering tailored workshops and follow-up to cultivate an inclusive environment. Having a diverse group of people in the room isn't enough in 2021, we need to make sure that those voices are all heard and equitably represented.
