Impact Index Information

Impact Index is a new way to look at cricket (and cricket statistics), one that some believe to be more accurate and meaningful than any existing system in the game. Going deep into performance analytics, Impact Index measures the impact of a player on a game relative to the other 21 players in the same game. This is not a rating system, but a method to measure the intangibles of context in a cricket match by just using the scorecard. Today, Impact Index is a sister concern of Wisden (India). --- As the famous mathematician GH Hardy said - "Cricket is the only game where you are playing against eleven of the other side and ten of your own".
