iMod Structures (IMS) is transforming the classroom and how they are built. Combining advanced technologies and progressive new approaches to building design and construction, IMS is designing, manufacturing and installing DSA approved high-performance, prefabricated 'future proof' classrooms that are designed specifically as healthy and sustainable 21st Century learning environments. Available as single- or two-story structures, the iMod classrooms are steel frame buildings that are earthquake and hurricane/typhoon proof. Our innovative iMod moment frame design enables 40 feet of clear span without requiring any columns or structural walls. Our high performance buildings are easily and cost-effectively relocated to accommodate a school district's sifting demographics and budget requirements. Our classrooms are also tech-ready, capable of integrating new innovations and digital teaching tools without interruption. IMS is located on Mare Island in Vallejo, CA, where the company operates its 100,000-square-foot factory.
