Immersive Tech Information

Immersive Tech (ImTech) is a non-profit think tank to promote the development and adoption of immersive technology. The term “immersive technology” refers to simulated realities, interactive devices, and applications that combine to create an “immersive” experience into technology. It includes (but is not limited to) technology that blurs, if not erases, the line of distinction between the confined physical world and the boundless digital world. ImTech seeks to benefit humanity by advancing fields of industry, such as health, education, entertainment and the arts, through the use of immersive technology. Immersive Tech aligns the work of researchers, businesses, and manufacturers with other creative communities, professional organizations, and the general public. The organization serves as an indispensible resource and authority to the field by establishing and disseminating industry guidelines and standards. ImTech is the central hub for collaboration, education, and promotion of immersive technology. With the help of partners, grantors, and members, Immersive Tech will create lasting change to the way people perceive reality.
