IMISK A.S. Information

The Imisk Group of companies was established in 1959 by Mr. Ibrahim Miskavi under his own name and incorporated as Imisk A.S. in 1986. The Group is active in two major fields: international trade and logistics. Imisk has played a major role in the import and export of cotton in Turkey since its establishment. However, over the years the group has also become active in the import of wool, export of foodstuffs, as well as trading in metals, construction materials and textile products. The group started its forwarding activities in 1976, with transport from the Turkish ports to the Middle East. As from 1991, and combining its expertise in cotton and forwarding, it has become specialized in providing warehousing and distribution services to the cotton world particularly in Turkey, Central Asia, China and the United Arab Emirates. Today, and in addition to the above services, the group provides a full range of transport services particularly in Central Asia and some parts of the Middle East. Its activities also include the operation of own heavy lift equipments as well as port operations. Together with its strategic partners, the group currently operates in over 18 countries with 300,000 square meters of warehousing facilities and over 1,300 employees
