Founded in 1991 to address a need identified by the employer community, Industrial Medical Consultants, LLC, (IMC) has distinguished itself nationally due to its unique ability to resolve health-related issues that impact workforce productivity. IMC's Physician-to-Physician approach is based upon the realization that the employer's direct and indirect losses associated with health-related issues are physician driven. As a result, effective loss control case management must be based upon the ability to alter physician behavior. Our "doctors talking to doctors" model has enabled IMC to be an effective corporate advocate for companies of all sizes within every work environment. Today, IMC works for fully insured and self-insured employers in all types of industries including service and manufacturing, as well as associations, governmental employers and unions. Over the past 17 years, IMC has expanded its scope of services to meet the evolving needs of the employer community with a full range of productivity management services designed to meet the employer's immediate and long-term needs.
