ImagingLab is a small hi-tech company, whose mission is to offer its know-how to system integrators, machine builders, and end-users with the need to adopt innovative technologies in the field of machine vision and robotics, minimising their investments and shortening their learning curve. The know-how of the company derives from a solid academic background, a wide system integration experience, a deep knowledge of imaging tools and software – especially those of National Instruments, a continuous effort to keep its personnel up-to-date with the rapidly changing machine vision technology. ImagingLab has successfully deployed tens of integrated vision-robotics solutions in many different industrial segments such as flexible manufacturing and automated assembly, pharma and cosmetics packaging, automated testing in microelectronics, tire manufacturing and even high energy physics. ImagingLab is also actively pursuing the adoption of robust 3D machine vision techniques to complement and extend its offering of 2D vision for robotics. The premises of ImagingLab are located in Palazzo Mozzanica, a 14th century building in the centre of Lodi (Italy), where robots and vision systems share the space with frescos and cross-vaulted ceilings.
