Imaging Central is Perth’s Western suburbs premier diagnostic and interventional radiology clinic. We are an independent practice, owned and operated by radiologists and are therefore able to offer true patient-centric care. The practice is directed by Dr Mark Hamlin, Dr Sanjay Nadkarni, and Mr Joel Scaddan. Thoracic radiologist, Dr Yuranga Weerakkody, musculoskeletal radiologist Dr Daniel Wong and cardiologist Dr Arun Abraham are passionate on delivering the best practice currently available internationally. This extends from lung cancer CT screening to our CT coronary angiogram service. These programs assist in providing early diagnosis of coronary artery disease and lung cancer. Imaging Central has a dedicated musculoskeletal ultrasound service to diagnose sporting injuries and other causes of joint and extremity pain. We believe that patient care should come first whether you are undergoing a digital x-ray, a CT scan, or an advanced interventional procedure. The practice is also built around minimising patient radiation exposure from medical procedures. The latest digital x-ray equipment yields optimum image quality at high resolution, with less radiation exposure due to advanced engineering technology. Our CT scans are performed with 128 slice technology capable of up to 70% dose reduction with comparison to the national dose reference level. Interventional radiologists are on site daily to provide image guided interventions at all times. Imaging Central is also affiliated with Painsense clinic, therefore enabling integrated diagnostic and procedural pain management. Dr Hamlin, Dr Wong and physiotherapist Simeon Allen-Ankins are available to consult your patients and formulate management plans to optimise their condition and manage chronic pain.
