Imagination Installations Information

To co-create our world by unleashing the power of imagination one dream at a time. We believe that inspiring and empowering people to give voice to their dreams, in community, is vitally important and necessary in co-creating our world. We use Imagine When statements to model the talent of dreaming in the positive to create what we want in the world vs. speaking out against anything or anyone. We build Imaginariums interactive public art installations, imagination events and social media projects where people can record their dreams and discover what others have shared using the statement Imagine When Imagination Installations (ii) started as a grassroots effort in Winston-Salem, North Carolina in 2011. The project has been fueled by hundreds of entrepreneurs, architects, artists, activists, community leaders, business owners, educators, designers and other innovators who love to think big and dream big. We received our 501(c)(3) status in 2014. Imagination Installations teamed up with The Sideshow Saturdays Project to enliven community dreams through interactive dance. The audience watched their dreams for the future move and unfold before their eyes as a group of dance artists transformed their Imagine When statement into physical reality. Audience members also danced and experienced their dreams flowing through gestures, movement, spoken word and intention. The dream-dancing took place on the street in front of Golden Flower Tai Chi Center, next to Finnigans Wake, just down the street from the Summer on Trade, live music stage.
