Image Music Library Information

Established for 25 years and represented in over 30 countries, The Image Music Library commenced using compositions by Frank Strangio, a composer of film and television music, and Peter Martin who was active in the advertising jingle area. Since that time Image has developed a roster of 46 Australian composers who contribute regularly to the expanding music library catalogue. In the USA Image compositions are widely used by many major TV and Cable channels including the Fox Network, WB Television Network, HBO, Turner Network, National Geographic, Nickelodeon and The History Channel. Japan is proving to be one of the most important markets for Image with considerable use of its music on Japanese radio and television. Increasing activity in China and Korea is also providing many opportunities for use of the Image Music Library. The same situation applies to European countries. Asia has yielded significant results especially in the advertising area with such names as Estee Lauder, Mercedes Benz, Carlsburg Beer, Nivea, Chevrolet, Toyota, KFC, Caltex, Fuji, LG and Volvo using Image music. In addition to the overseas success Image Music has been featured in many Australian TV productions such as “Getaway”, “Neighbours”, “Kath & Kim”, “Australian Idol”, “Australia’s Strictest Parents” & “Dancing With The Stars”.
