Illinois Track Club Information

WE ARE one of the largest and foremost clubs within the National Intercollegiate Running Club Association (NIRCA). With both numbers and depth, we have the resources and leadership to allow our athletes to excel and improve. Since the foundation of our organization in 2006, we have grown to a competitive community of over 150 undergraduate and graduate athletes. The most unique and special aspect of our club is that we show up every day completely voluntarily. Athletes of all ability levels come to practice every day simply because they love to run and have a desire to improve. Along with competition, the Club provides a great support network and helps to forge some of the best friendships you have in college. We are also a completely student-run organization, offering plenty of opportunities for leadership. WE COMPETE across the nation to find the best competition that NIRCA and NCAA DI, DII, and DIII programs offer for both track and cross country. With over 15 meets between cross country and track spanning from September to May, there are endless opportunities for every athlete to showcase their skill and talent. We’ve dominated Club Relays, a meet hosted at our very own Armory with over 700 competitors across 12 events, winning 12 years in a row in both the men’s and women’s divisions. We also continually place highly at NIRCA Regional and National meets.
