ALSAC is the largest healthcare-related charity in the United States. Founded in 1957 by Danny Thomas, our sole mission is to raise the funds and awareness needed to operate and maintain St. Jude Children's Research Hospital®. While our headquarters can be found in Memphis, Tennessee, we have additional offices in more than 30 locations across the country and in Puerto Rico with positions in fundraising, marketing, digital, information technology, legal, finance and many other disciplines all supporting our lifesaving mission - Finding cures. The LLS mission: Cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma, and improve the quality of life of patients and their families. LLS funds lifesaving blood cancer research around the world and provides free information and support services. The Mid-Atlantic Region of LLS serves the Northern Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC Metropolitan area. We provide patient support groups, education programs, financial aid and co-pay assistance for patients in our area.

Since 1983, we’ve been dedicated to transforming children’s healthcare by raising critical, unrestricted funds to support treatments, programs, and state-of-the-art equipment for local children’s hospitals. Our 170 member hospitals treat 12 million kids each year, supporting the mental, physical, and emotional health of patients and their families. Working together with partners and programs like Extra Life, Dance Marathon, Play Yellow, and Radiothon, we’ve raised over $9 billion in 42 years with no plans on stopping!
