We are a South African systems change organisation bridging the way towards universal access to quality early childhood development (ECD) services that benefit children and women. As a systems change organisation, Ilifa tackles complex and persistent challenges in the ECD sector by improving how the system functions, including the policies, funding flows, institutional capacity, and ways of thinking that shape access to quality ECD services. We do this by generating evidence, offering technical expertise, supporting policy design and implementation, communications, and partnering with government and civil society actors to co-develop solutions.
