Based in Italy, ILEXSOFT is committed to creating innovative solutions for the architecture, engineering and construction (AEC) design community by developing advanced software with a focus on a user experience characterized by simplicity and elegance. Our vision is to create modern software that is enjoyable to use and tailored to the actual needs of professionals, in which the user interface plays a central part by translating the complexity of building and product design into a smooth workflow. We aim at creating a digital workspace where the designer has direct and visual control over the entire project in all its phases, from the initial ideas to the production sheets, without distractions or fuss. We value simplicity and elegance as essential elements of a satisfying user experience. We are proud to share this vision with our customers by offering products and services that make the user an active member of our team. The flagship product, HighDesign, has been developed from the ground up as a new product and has grown to be a well recognized and appreciated computer-aided design (CAD) solution in the Mac community, actively used in more than 40 countries worldwide by individuals, firms and institutions. The name of our company, ILEXSOFT, comes from Quercus Ilex, the latin name of the evergreen oak of the Mediterranean regions and typical of the Italian landscape. The Ilexsoft logo represents the leaf of the evergreen oak.
