IJMA3-USA Information

IJMA3-USA, a 501(c)(3) organization established in 2010, emphasizes such issues as internet freedom with Arab sensitivities, democracy building and organizational capacity building. Based in Washington, D.C., the organization leverages its connections in the MENA region, the United States and abroad to bolster local civil society and forge lasting partnerships for long-term development. Its current initiatives seek to identify and create growth opportunities for Arab ICT companies through developing linkages and partnerships with US-based technology firms. IJMA3-USA is closely allied with its sister organization, IJMA3 – The Arab ICT Organization, based in Lebanon with offices in many countries in the Middle East. IJMA3 was created in 2004 to serve as the regional representative of the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) industry. IJMA3 is an international nongovernmental non-profit organization consisting of a consortium of 19 national ICT society and association members from 15 countries across the Middle East and North Africa. As the regional voice of the ICT industry, IJMA3 is dedicated to advocating policies that advance the industry's growth and development; facilitate international trade and investment in ICT products and services; and harness ICT toward the fulfillment of critical regional development challenges.
