IITBHU Model United Nations Information

Model UN conferences are educational simulations of the UN system that effectively impart skills such as public speaking, communication, diplomacy, and leadership. IITBHU Model United Nations is the pioneering Model UN conference of Varanasi. It has hosted 3700+ delegates hailing from 22 nationalities over 10 editions. It has been patronized by reputed United Nations entities such as the United Nations Information Centre, New Delhi, and UNESCO-INCCU. The Honorable Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, has supported IITBHU MUN with an encouraging message. The 10th edition of IITBHU MUN hosted eminent speakers such as Shri Akhilesh Mishra, the Ambassador of India to Ireland; Shri Manoj Kumar Mohapatra, the Ambassador of India to Guatemala; and Shri Abhay Kumar, the Ambassador of India to Madagascar and Comoros. It was endorsed by Shri Manoj Kumar Bharti, the Ambassador of India to Indonesia. The 11th edition of IITBHU MUN Conference is scheduled for 3-5 February 2023.
