Iirm-Distance Learning Program Information

IIRM is a unique institution promoted by Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India (IRDAI) & State Government of Telangana. IIRM offers comprehensive courses in Insurance, Risk Management, Financial services, Analytics and Actuarial Sciences for Graduates & Online Distance Learning Program for working professionals/retired in tune with the Industry requirements. Courses offered for Working Professionals through Online Distance Learning Program for a period of six months are : (i) Life Insurance (ii) General Insurance (iii) Risk Management. Admissions are made twice a year (January - June batch & July - December batch) ELIGIBILITY: Any graduate from recognized university / institution. DURATION OF THE COURSE: The enrolled candidates can appear for the examinations falling due after their joining. Study material will be supplied at the time of admission. CONTACT CLASSES/EXAMINATIONS: Online contact classes will/may be conducted (based on the student registrations for the same) before schedule of the exams. However, e-learning material which includes, syllabus, Model question and answers , Old question papers, Self-learning material, etc. Followed by Online Mode Exams. Why IPGD @ IIRM? I. CII, London: We are an accredited member of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII), London. Those who pass IIRM- International PG Diploma course are eligible for credit points from CII, London leading to Dip CII from CII, London provided they write one subject with CII, London at their diploma level. II. IRM, London: Our Risk Management course is recognized by Institute of Risk Management (IRM), London. Thus, our diploma holders will be given direct entry to their entry level certification in IRM London. III. IRDAI: Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India has accorded recognition to IPGD Insurance courses of IIRM, on par with Fellowship of Insurance Institute of India (III), Mumbai, as suitable qualification for Insurance service
