Indian Institute of Public Health – Gandhinagar has been set up by Public Health Foundation of India (PHFI) to function as one of the nodal Institutions for public health education, advocacy, research and practice, and providing quality public health training to graduates of diverse disciplines. IIPHG aims to pursue the mandate of equity in public health, bringing strategy, resources and networks to the issues and practice of public health in India. IIPHG is an initiative PHFI as one of its response to the severe shortfall of public health professionals in India. PHFI’s goal is to expand institutional capacity in India for strengthening training, research and policy development in the area of public health
