International Health Alliance (IHA) is a global health organization dedicated to expanding healthcare access while training the next generation of healthcare professionals through hands-on clinical, research, and public health experiences. Through our programs in the Dominican Republic and remote research initiatives, students gain real-world exposure to healthcare in underserved communities while working alongside healthcare professionals in clinical and community settings. IHA provides opportunities for students pursuing careers in medicine, nursing, public health, dentistry, physician assistant studies, and healthcare research to develop practical skills, cultural awareness, leadership, and a deeper understanding of global health challenges. Beyond clinical exposure, participants may contribute to community-based research projects that have been presented at national and international scientific conferences, helping students gain valuable experience in academic medicine and global health research.
