IEEE ENGINEERING IN MEDICINE AND BIOLOGY SOCIETY is the largest international society of Biomedical Engineers in the world! Representing Coimbra and Portugal, we are the group of students that make up the Chapter associated with the IEEE Student Branch of Coimbra, the IEEE EMBS UC. Based on our activities, we aim to help on the path to finding the answer to: “What does a biomedical engineer do?”. To this end, we have several working groups, all of which aim to create innovative initiatives for the entire academic community interested in the areas of technology and medicine.
