iE&D Solutions BV Information

Our history iE&D Solutions was established in January 2006 by René Lenssen and Thijs van Vugt. Both had previously held senior roles at universities and private consultancy firms. Together, they brought specialised knowledge based on creativity, 50 years of combined experience in international higher education, and strong global networks. Their areas of expertise included strategic planning, international relations management, advising foreign students and study abroad programmes, as well as international marketing and student recruitment. In 2021, Thijs van Vugt continued running iE&D Solutions on his own. By this time, he had developed from a higher education marketing consultant into a pioneer and business innovator. He has successfully established and developed new departments and business units for various clients. Today Currently, Thijs helps public and private education organisations successfully establish, develop, and run commercial activities. He assists organisations in achieving their goals of becoming more customer and market-focused and responding to market opportunities. His expertise covers organisational and talent development to finance and strategy, with particular focus on marketing, branding, communication, customer relationship management, data analysis, and sales. 3V Communicatie In 2021, 3V Communicatie, run by Sandra van Vugt-Veul, joined the company. 3V Communicatie provides online marketing and communication consultancy. Together, iE&D and 3V offer 60 years of combined experience in the above-mentioned areas of expertise. Based in ‘s-Hertogenbosch, The Netherlands, we work both remotely as on site.
