IDOCAL Information

The Research Institute of Personnel Psychology, Organizational Development and Quality of Working Life (IDOCAL) aims to promote, from the academic field, research to improve both the quality of life of people and the functioning of the organizations. To do this, the Idocal develops different lines of research and participates in different training projects for future professionals. In relation to this last aspect, it coordinates the Doctoral Programme in Psychology of Human Resources, taught by the University of Valencia and the University of Seville, and aimed at training high-level researchers and professionals in the field of Psychology of Human Resources. It also coordinates the Erasmus Mundus Joint Master Degree in Work, Organizational and Personnel Psychology, taught by a consortium of different European universities (Valencia, Barcelona, Bologna and Coimbra), in which other universities such as the Florida Institute of Technology, the one in Illinois, and the Universities of Brasilia, Baltimore and Puerto Rico also collaborate. It also participates in the International Joint Master of Research in Work and Organizational Psychology, together with the University of Maastricht and the Leuphana University of Lüneburg. Finally, some members of Idocal carry out their research in the Laboratory of Cognitive Social Neuroscience (LabNSC).
